In order to seek new development opportunities and understand emerging industries and markets, General Manager Liu Lei visited Southeast Asian countries such as Malaysia and Thailand in May for inspection.
The Southeast Asian countries included a total of 11 countries, including Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, and East Timor. These countries have a population of approximately 660 million and a GDP of over 2.3 trillion US dollars, overall higher than Brazil or Russia. Southeast Asia has enormous market potential, making it one of the fastest growing economies in the world and one of the fastest growing regions in terms of population. As the third largest major trading area in the world, the Southeast Asian market is attracting more and more investors.
Mr. Liu conducted an inspection of local industrial factories in Malaysia, focusing on understanding investment policies, the development of industrial parks, and the construction of factories. Mr. Liu visited the production line of Shunda Wood Industry and had discussions with the production manager, gaining a deeper understanding of the local industrial structure.
Mr. Liu focused on inspecting the local industrial environment and manufacturing characteristics in Thailand, and had exchanges and negotiations with representatives of manufacturing enterprises, thereby deepening his understanding of the Thai market and environmental policies.
